Kelly recently received her 2nd Emmy nomination, following her success at last year's award show where she won for Best Supporting Actress, for her role as Dr. Britt Westbourne on General Hospital. Following her big win, Kelly was asked to come back and reprise her fan favorite role as Eva in ABC's Station 19 and also appeared on an episode of the latest series of Magnum P.I . on NBC. Kelly, who made her film debut in 2002 and has several further credits including Scott Spiegel's Hostel III and her recent work on the upcoming Indie "Shakey Grounds", was born in El Campo, Texas. Her mom was an art teacher, her dad a high school football coach, and she has two older brothers. It was very much a Friday Night Lights kind of upbringing for Kelly. She first got comfortable in front of a crowd by joining the cheer squad but she was more than just a cheerleader. She was a star athlete, excelling in soccer, volleyball, softball, basketball and track. Graduating after three years, she moved to Los Angeles with a modeling contract and became a successful model and commercial actor for Apple, Audi, Union Bay, McGregor and Levi's. When headlining videos for the superstar DJ David Guetta, Kelly had the revelation that acting was her passion. Kelly won her first award after participating in the 48 Hour Film Festival in 2012, where she was named Runner up Best Actress. Inspired by her dad who kept reminding Kelly "you're the toughest person I know", a love of comedy drove her to expand her art craft by studying with The Groundlings, she also hosted sketch shows at The Second City, and was apart of the Sketch Group "Tickle Crisps" that performed in NYC and LA. Kelly has further ambitions to host a TV show and game show, possibly direct and also start writing. Kelly, who splits her time between London and the US, loves to spend downtime with a karaoke mic in hand, cooking Italian for friends, playing with her adored pooch, Whiskey, and volunteering to help the homeless, children, and animals.
